More Space for Larger Rowers
The footplate adapter for the AUGLETICS Eight Style and Eight Sport increases the distance between the foot straps from 10.4 cm to 29.6 cm. This creates significantly more space in the leg and abdominal area, enabling a noticeably more comfortable rowing technique, especially for larger or heavier rowers.
The increased distance allows for a more natural leg movement, which increases freedom of movement and often results in a more comfortable seating position. Especially if your abdomen might be in the way during the recovery phase, the adapter can make the rowing stroke significantly more pleasant.
Installation requires no permanent modifications to the rowing machine. The adapter is mounted between the existing footplate holders and can be removed at any time if needed. Afterwards, the original footplate with the standard distance of 10.4 cm can be used again.
The adapter is compatible with the AUGLETICS Eight Style and AUGLETICS Eight Sport and is designed for a maximum user weight of 195 kg.
