We are pleased to announce: AUGLETICS is among the winners of the Brandenburg Future Award 2025. The award, the most important business prize in the state of Brandenburg, was presented on Friday evening at the Holiday Inn Berlin Airport Conference Centre in Schönefeld.
For us, this award is an impressive confirmation of our journey – from a small student project to a powerful medium-sized company that is now among the most innovative providers in the home fitness industry. At the same time, it is a sign that bold ideas, regional commitment, and technological excellence can make a difference when combined.
MADE IN GERMANY
To make rowing training at home simple, effective, and inspiring and to motivate people towards a more active lifestyle in the long term. We originated from a student project by two founders who are themselves rowers. From the beginning, our aim was to make home training more efficient, modern, and motivating than what was available on the market at the time. Today, we are considered a technological pioneer in the industry and demonstrate how regional production, modern electronics, and sports science expertise can successfully work together. Our devices are not just used; they inspire.
Our holistic approach convinced the jury. Development, manufacturing, software, design, and marketing are all done in-house. This proximity to the product and to our customers forms the foundation for rowing machines that are among the quietest, lowest-maintenance, and most technologically advanced on the market.
Our devices are entirely produced in Königs Wusterhausen and combine:

a large touchscreen with streaming function
All in one system that seamlessly integrates into daily life. Today, we deliver our products not only within Germany, but worldwide.
Managing Director Flavio Holstein and co-founder Stefan Kötitz accepted the award on behalf of the entire team. Many employees attended the ceremony on-site, which is a strong sign of our corporate culture based on team spirit, trust, transparency, and collaborative development.
The jury explicitly emphasized that AUGLETICS exemplifies how digital innovation, sustainable craftsmanship, and regional value creation lead to economic strength. For us, this recognition is an important signal: Our work has a significance that extends far beyond the sports and fitness industry.
Brandenburg’s Minister of Economic Affairs Daniel Keller highlighted in his welcoming address that companies like AUGLETICS are important drivers for growth, innovation, and regional development.
The Future Award has been presented since 2004 and showcases the economic performance of Brandenburg’s SMEs. It is supported by the state’s chambers of commerce as well as numerous institutions and partners.
Other award winners include Spiel Bau GmbH, Monari Arts GmbH, 2M Gruppe GmbH Gebäudereinigung, and Ardelt Kranbau from Eberswalde. Together, they represent the impressive diversity of an economic region characterized by innovative strength, sustainable craftsmanship, and strong entrepreneurial ideas.
Their selection shows how dynamic, creative, and efficient Brandenburg’s business landscape is today and how important regional innovation has become for the economic and quality of life in the state.
For us, the Brandenburg Future Award 2025 is both recognition and motivation.
It shows how a young company from Brandenburg can shape the home fitness world and how we inspire people across borders for training on the rowing machine. At the same time, it reminds us to consistently continue our path:
to innovate boldly
to strengthen regional production
to create sustainable jobs
to motivate people to be more active
The award is a milestone, but also a starting point.
