Together into the second season

It is a pleasure to have you here. You are holding a small piece of a partnership that we at AUGLETICS are truly proud of.

Since 2025, we have been supporting the Women’s Sweep National Team of the German Rowing Federation. This includes the flagship of German women’s rowing: the German Women’s Eight. In 2026, we are entering our second season together.

Here you can find out how this partnership came about, what both sides expect from it, and which goals we are pursuing together.

The sweep team consists of the women’s eight, the coxless four, and the coxless pair.

This season, Pia Greiten and Tabea Schendekehl are part of the sweep rowing team. Both athletes were part of the successful quadruple sculls at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. In a thrilling race, the quadruple sculls won the bronze medal in Paris.

The Women's Eight and the "Eight Style"

Because there is a conscious decision behind the name AUGLETICS Eight: The eight is the blue-ribbon event of rowing.

Powerful, fast, and technically at the highest level. These values are also embedded in our flagship, the AUGLETICS Eight Style. It was therefore a natural choice for us to anchor our sponsorship right here. We support a young, ambitious team with great potential and a bright future. We see the Women’s Sweep National Team as a team that shows courage and faces challenges.

More than just a logo on the chest

We understand sponsorship as more than just financial support or a logo on clothing – we see it as a true partnership.

For us, this specifically means: support with training opportunities, equipment, and gear, as well as supplementary data-based land training using our rowing machines manufactured in Germany – and the willingness to grow together. Beyond a single season, ideally throughout the entire Olympic cycle until Los Angeles 2028.

AUGLETICS develops and manufactures smart rowing machines in Germany, in the Brandenburg district of Dahme-Spreewald – a region with a great rowing tradition. Rowing is not just our product; it is our conviction.

We support the team because we want to specifically strengthen the women’s sweep area. And because we believe that competitive and grassroots sports benefit from each other.

From the World Championships to the Olympic Games

The team made people sit up and take notice at the World Championships last year: they missed out on a medal by only 17 hundredths of a second – a ranking of this magnitude was last achieved by the women’s eight 20 years ago. The course is set. And the goals are clearly defined:

World Cup & World Championships 2026

After a strong start to the season, the journey continues through the World Cups toward the World Championships – with the goal of building on the strong previous season and competing for medals.

Olympic Games 2028

The big Olympic dream: a German women’s eight competing at the very front at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Step by step, regatta by regatta.

What AUGLETICS makes possible

Elite sport needs a strong environment. As a partner of the team, we contribute to ensuring that the athletes can focus on what matters: their training and their performance.

  • Better training conditions: Support with equipment and gear so that the team can train under optimal conditions.
  • High-quality rowing technology: Our rowing machines, manufactured in Germany, bring supplementary, data-based training to land – all year round and regardless of the weather.
  • Visibility for women’s rowing: We provide the team with a stage and help ensure that the athletes’ achievements receive the attention they deserve.
  • Long-term partnership: Not a sponsorship for one season, but support throughout the entire Olympic cycle – as a reliable partner by the team’s side.

What the partnership means for the athletes

Tabea Schendekehl

Tabea Schendekehl

– Bronze medalist, Paris 2024 Olympic Games –

“We have shown what we are capable of. That was a good start to the new Olympic cycle. A fourth place at the World Championships, and thus the best result in almost 20 years, makes us proud in a way.”

Pia Greiten

– Bronze medalist, Paris 2024 Olympic Games –

“For me, sponsorship primarily means security. We feel this support as a team just as much as I do personally – in training and in competitions.”

Pia Greiten, rower for the German national rowing team and member of the women's eight.

Why more people should row

When elite athletes inspire, society also moves. Every person who finds joy in movement through rowing strengthens the sport as a whole. And that is ultimately what matters to all of us.

In fact, we all pursue the same goal: to get more people into rowing. Because rowing is one of the healthiest and most efficient sports of all. A good 85 percent of the entire body’s muscles are activated with every stroke. The movement is easy on the joints, powerful, and suitable for all ages. In our view, a world in which more people row regularly is a healthier world. This is because rowing can have a preventive effect against common ailments, such as back pain. Whether on the water or on a rowing machine.
