We are delighted in Königs Wusterhausen: AUGLETICS was nominated as one of six companies for the Zukunftspreis Brandenburg 2025 from 91 applications.
The award is considered one of the most significant business accolades in the state of Brandenburg. It recognizes companies that demonstrate entrepreneurial courage, innovative strength, and regional responsibility, creating sustainable solutions for the future – and thereby sustainably strengthening the economy in Brandenburg. The official award ceremony will take place on November 21, 2025, at the Holiday Inn Berlin Airport Conference Centre.
What does AUGLETICS do?
AUGLETICS represents smart rowing machines that redefine modern indoor training for home use. Developed and manufactured just outside Berlin – in our own workshop in Königs Wusterhausen.
Our goal: A fitness device that not only impresses technically but also makes training enjoyable. This is achieved through the combination of a quiet, maintenance-free magnetic braking system, an integrated virtual coach, and intuitive app connectivity – including video coaching, training plans, and even the option to use streaming services like Netflix.
Why we were (presumably) nominated
The jury particularly highlights companies that create jobs with innovative ideas, take responsibility for their region – and break new ground. For AUGLETICS, the nomination could signify the following areas:
- High innovative strength that is tangible: Our rowing machines combine hardware, software, and design.
- Diversity in the team: From mechanical engineering to electrical engineering and software development, from accounting to online marketing – all under one roof.
- Regional production instead of mass imports: Our heart beats in Brandenburg.
- Sustainability in practice – from durable design to packaging made from recycled material.
- Commitment to sports: As a sponsor of the German Women’s National Team in sweep rowing (including the Women’s Eight), we actively contribute to the development of elite sports.
Who else is nominated
In addition to AUGLETICS, five other companies are in the final – from very different industries:
- 2M Gruppe GmbH from Potsdam
- Ardelt Kranbau GmbH from Eberswalde
- Metall- und Balkonbau Hansmann GmbH from Jacobsdorf
- MONARI Arts GmbH from Schlieben
- Spiel-Bau GmbH from Brandenburg an der Havel
This selection shows how diverse the economy in Brandenburg is – and the innovative spirit within the region.
And now?
There is still some time until the award ceremony in November – but we are already delighted about the nomination, the trust associated with it, and the attention given to our work. We are eager to see how things progress – and will, naturally, keep you updated on the journey.
